My English progress from 2011-2013

My first document (email to Milco) was really poor... There was a lot of mistakes, basic words and and many repeated conjunctions like so, because, there is...
By contrast, my last composition there are a lot of prepositions, connectors like although , even though, perhaps,plus... my level has grown up since my beginning , and do the blog helps me to increase more my level,
increasing my vocabulary and decreasing my grammatical, structural or pronunciation errors. 
I can see my development clearly, using a lot of my new vocabulary, using the connectors that I said before, the use of adverbs to describe something...
I have evolved a lot in all this aspects

Steve Aoki in spain

After the tragedy of madrid arena, Steve Aoki has come in Spain again.

Last thursday 9 of may he arrived in Lleida and he went in a disco there. Then, saturday 11 of may he went in a Girona's disco called Millennium from 1am to 2am and then he took a private plane to go to a benidorm disco the same night. He did the session in benidorm from 5am to 6am.

It has been a big show everywhere he has gone. He rice the public with champagne and he throw cakes to some people of the public leaving them gross.

 Any problem has occurred because of the good organisation and precautions.

Opinion:  I think that because of the tragedy a lot of precautions has been put and it's better for the discos and for Spain. It's a pitty that people need a tragedy to change the things that are wrong or realize that people's life is in danger. But "it's better later than never"

Madrid Arena

Last November of 2012 a fatal accident in  a Halloween party at "Madrid Arena" in Madrid.

The tragedy took place at around 4am: a firecracker or flare went off in the hallway that causes the exaltation of the people. The stampede at Madrid Halloween event leaves three girls dead, two in critical conditions and lots of injured young people after being crushed in a stampede when people were trying to leave the place.

It was the night of 31 a Halloween party was celebrated at ''Madrid Arena'' disco with the big Dj: Steve Aoki. Lots of teenagers had their ticket for the party and went there with their friends.The number of teenagers who were at the party was very high, some of them were under 18, who can't be in, normally. Because of this high number of people and that there was only one exit door opened, a tamponade occurred. As a result, this funny party became a tragedy. The health services arrived late to the site.

As a result of this tragic event, the Spanish authorities have prohibited numerous events that were going to be celebrated for not having the necessary requirements to be able to celebrate it. One example is Chic deluxe, they closed it because it hasn't got the necessary exit doors.

Personal opinion: a big disaster caused by a bad organization...

Steve Aoki

 Steven Hiroyuki Aoki is born on 1977 in Miami. He is an American electro house musician, record producer and the founder of Dim Mak Records.

He graduated in Newport Harbor High School in 1995. His father is Japanese but she grew up with his grandfather, his mother, and his two older siblings.

Aoki founded his own label, Dim Mak Records, in 1996. He started to be famous in 2006 when he became a board member for MC5 bassist Michael Davis “Music Is Revolution Foundation”.

Aoki works with some popular artists like: Afrojack, Kid Cudi, LMFAO, Lil Jon,… doing some remixes of their songs.

He has had some awards like:

Best DJ of the Year - Paper Magazine (2007)

-         Best Set of the Season - Ibiza Awards (2007)

-   Best Party Rocker DJ - BPM Magazine (2007)

-    Best Mix Album of the Year - Billboard (2008)

As you can see, the best year for Aoki has been in 2007. Now he is one of the best Dj’s of the world.

Boston

The bombs that they used in the Boston's attempt, killed 3 persons and 264 were injured, broke out using a toy command (from a car toy). 

The survival suspect said that they read information about how to build a bomb in an article in the Inspire review "how to build a bomb in the kitchen of your mother" 

The police affirm that the two brothers, Thamerland and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, did an attempt on Boston's marathon with two pressure cookers.

In addition, they needed explosives from fireworks store situated in New Hampshire.

- honestly, very well. It was a pity the loss of Steve, he had everything very well controlled and was the genius of Apple, but I followed him closely and hope to live up.

-It is a very very competent personal. Employees receive a "class" in which is taught to deal with the client, so the answer is that they are very competent.

-And finally Tim, have you got new projects for the following years? 

-yes, my team and I have decided to change the iOS system and establish a new aesthetic concept, we also want to introduce new elements besides phones, tablets and computers, how the iWatch, or iGlasses innovative, it will be a revolution.

Lionel Messi, a new facet of superstar

Lionel Messi's life is to be made into a film after a Los Angeles production company bought the rights to a biography of the Barcelona star.

The film will focus on Messi's treatment for growth hormone deficiency and his boyhood in Argentina.
Messi,  has won four "Ballons d'Or", awarded to the world's best player of the world.
The company hopes finish the film in time for next year, the 2014 World Cup.
The distribution of the film has has not yet decided, Epic Pictures still holding talks with writers and directors about the project.
The goal is to make a powerful and positive film that will inspire people to go after their dreams no matter how impossible they may seem.
The film will be based on Luca Caioli's book 'Messi', which features interviews with the family and team-mates,player's former coaches and of course, himself.

Personal opinion: Can we expect something more than Messi? he has done almost everything, and he only remains to live as an actor!!

Daily routine

 I usually get up at about seven, then I have a shower and have breakfast.

My grandfather brings me to the school and I’m there from 8am until 2:30pm. Now I’m doing 2^nd of Batxillerat, and next year I would like to study telecommunication’s engineering.

From half past two to three o'clock, more or less, I have lunch at home with my parents or with my grandparents.

Then, in the afternoon I do my homework and Tuesdays and Thursdays I play football, from half past seven to half past eight.

Fridays I have English lessons from five o’clock until seven o’clock.

Normally at half past nine I have dinner and then I read a book, watch TV or sometimes I listen to music.

Finally I try to go to bed at about half past ten and that’s my day.

Human rights

Human rights are rights inherent to all human ,that we have since we born and it doesn't matter were we born, our sex, place of residence, colour, religion, language...  We are all equal to our human rights, without discrimination, everyone have it. These kind of rights are all interrelated and indivisible.

Human rights are often expressed and guaranteed by law(declaration of human rights) but not always human rights are respected and considered

It was written because of the disastrous acts of World War II, and World War I too which have outraged the conscience of all humans. This was the beggining of a world in which human begins shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspire which that have outraged the conscience of mankind.
There are 30 human rights, and each 10 of December people celebrate this creation. I'm not acquainted with ninth article which one says :No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.
The first article of human rights says that "all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood" I'm agree/familiar with it, but not everywhere is respected, for example in some towns of Africa where Kony train children to be soldiers.

Music

In this post I’m talking about music. Music is something you can listen to and something you can feel. It’s funny to know that when you feel good you enjoy the music, and when you feel bad or sad, you try to understand the lyrics of the song.

There are a lot of genres: classic, jazz, R&B, rap, hip-hop, grunge, metallic, house, techno, pop, rock,… My favorite genre of music is house: It’s a popular nowadays genre and you can hear it above all in discos.

A lot of people say that they need music in their life; I’m one of them. Every day they have to listen to music to feel better because you can enjoy music and music can relax or concentrate you too.

I like listening to music in the morning when I get up and in the car when I go to school. In the car I like listening to dance music in the radio.

Science and technology

 Nowadays, science and technology are one of the essential factors for the social development.

The effects of them in the society are that the functions of the persons were well defined, but the science has brought the break of balance between the man and the society and change the environment.

The progress of science has been very fast; nevertheless in the underdeveloped countries it is being very slow.

One example of the technological advance is the computers. Computer has changed a lot: software, designs, …

A good computer with Internet allows us to send documents to the other side of the world in a few minutes. These are some of the advantages of these multimedia materials:

­ - To provide information, across to the database or Internet.
­ - To increase the interest.

­ - Support a continuous intellectual activity.

On the other side, these are some disadvantages like:

­- Addiction.
­- Anxiety
­- Incomplete learning

iWatch

Apple is working on a iWatch, the new toy of this enterprise. Early rumours suggest that the Apple iWatch will not be just any old wrist watch, but more like a wearable mini computer complete with a full IOS. It will work with bluetooh, conecting the iWatch to our iPhone to be always updated.
However, other companies (like samsung)had copied the idea and have gone on sale other cheaper and not so good copies.
IWatch is said to be sold on 2014, surpassing all copies created, improving the lives of people and adding one more product to the list of articles of Apple.

I write this letter to inform you of our situation.

I am Albert Lleó, I am 17 years old and I am so annoyed and disgusted with your political campaign and how you and your team are bringing our country to disaster and poverty (like Grace). 

I know that Spain is not at its best moment but when we are in this kind of situations, we have to fight together and be and be one to grow up, because it's the only way to success with the crisis.

In fact,  22.000.000 € of the budget (one example) is not the correct way to success with the Spanish problem. 

The way to overcome the crisis is making happy people who can help Spain to grow up. It involves a better Spain.

I think that I'm representing everyone that is suffering all the problems related to the crisis, and we can't stay more time in this situation. It has to stop Mr Rajoy.

Here in Catalonia, all the prices are going up, and will do it until all of you stop being corrupt.

Everything you donwnload online should have a tax

one of the most problematic topics currently is that all products that you download online should have a tax or not.

There are a lot of people who won't pay for songs, games , new software... But I ask them: If you, one day, make a song, a program , a game(...) and you put it on internet to earn some money, and people can download it free, will you be fine?

On the one hand don't agree at all to pay for everything on internet and pay the price putted by the creator because there are full of products whose price is higher than the real price of it.

But on the other hand, I accept that good or nice jobs will have to be paid, always with a price imputed by a biased judge, according to the work done.

In fact, there are a lot of products that aren't enough good but we have to pay too much for them, and we have another kind of products that are quite perfect  we can get it free.

So, in conclusion, I prefer pay for the good ones and jailbreak the bad ones, if I
need them.

Miki's description

Miky, my biggest friend ,is 17 . He is brown-eyed, broad-shouldered and the
tallesst guy in my class. He has brown hair and , huge feet and the biggest mouth that I have ever seen (like annoying orange's mouth).
Miky has two special things that carecterize him. The first is his amazing acute voice that 
scaree you because generally ,he's very big  and the voice is a surprise in him.
The other fact that carecterizes him is that Miky is the cheerfulest person in our higj-school
and perhaps in Castelló d'Empúries. He is always smiling and saying silly things that make us happy
in a cloudy day, although sometimes it's too much.
He likes riding on his bike , playing with his five compuers, watching TV and sleeping
for 12 hours.
I admire him because he is always happy, and because he makes happy people that envolves him

Viladeroses

A woman of 60 years has died last evening after being dragged by a wave in Roses. The woman approached the jetty of Santa Margarita with her husband and her grandson of 12 years.

The Local police of Roses has received the alert that two people had fallen at the jetty. The man was able to leave by his own means but the woman had been rescued, unconscious, by the Mossos d'Esquadra. They started some resuscitation maneuvers until the first ambulance arrived and continued trying to revive, without success, the woman.

Conclusion; The poor woman was very unlucky...

2 students in the european parliament

Gandia Shore has been a spanish revolution. It's a TV program about young spanish people that are in a house in Gandia (Spain) and their "mission" is do all that they want.
One of the girls of Gandia Shore is Ylenia, a blond girl known for her typical word: "exagerado" or  "sagerao".

Last month, in the european parliament, 2 students of every country of Europe had to represent their country there. Everybody had to speak in english.
The spanish students, representing Spain, "spoke" in english reading their cutlet very badly and then the boy ended their little and awful speech saying "sagerao España!". It shows how badly is going the country.

This year your poshest crocodile of your wardrobe is 80 years old.
There is a curious story behind this crocodile: in 1920 there was a famous tennis 

player called René Lacoste or "Le Crocodile". One day, when he was playing

 a match, he decided to leave an unconfortable typical clothing and he cut the 

sleeves of a T-shirt and he put a little crocodile that represents him and he 

continues playing the match. That's the beginning of Lacoste , and the company 

will celebrate it extremely.

Keith O'Brien

The cardinal Keith O'Brien, the scotish former leader of the Catholic Church , has confessed his sexual conduct that he has at times.

He apologised  from those he had "offended" of this acts.
In a statement, he also apologised to the Church and the people of Scotland.He says that is a horrible thing, and he is very repented.
The cardinal resigned last Monday after three priests and a former priest had made allegations of improper behaviour against him dating back to the 80s.
Cardinal O'Brien, was the Britan senior  Catholic cleric until he stood down as the Archbishop of St Andrews and Edinburgh.

Evernote, online information storage

The Californian company, that allows people to organise and save personal documents on an external server, is thought to have about 50 million users.
It said user names, email addresses and encrypted passwords were of maximum security.
But it don't says that the payment details or stored content was secure.
Evernote was hacked and their security disappeared in the moment when the hackers entered to the server. They could saw all online personal documents: video clips, images, web pages, notes and itineraries in an external storage system commonly known as the cloud.
But they doesn't though that when security gets down, an alarm will apear. And Evernote taked some time to restore the security because the
 hackers deleted it parcialy, but finaly could save alot of private information.
Conclusion; If you're in and you are in red numers in your banck, perhaps they take your information... #allscared.

Last year, my girlfriend and I spent our christmas holidays in Calpe, Valencia, because she had never been there before.

During the first day, we started visiting the most important city's sites: the beaches, the casino and the spa of our hotel!The following day we woke up early and when we went into the supermarket, we were stunned because we saw like 1000 Chinese persons(a lot)! We were walking hand in hand , a bit scared while we were looking magazines.

Then, we came home and we went to bed soon in order to see all the town. The rest of that week was unforgettable and wonderful.

To sum up, If I were you I would spend some days in Calpe and I know that will like you, because is said to be relaxing.

Barça against madrid

Last weak barça lose against madrid in Camp Nou for 3 by 1.

Barça started the match very relaxed, and this it was the

rason for a lot of people to say that barça lose the match.

Mourinho was very satisfied with his team because it won the

best team in the world. Nowadays is very complicated the

victory with the tito's team, and Mourinho could do it

yesterday.

The following match, barça will try another system to

afront the match, and be able to succes against madrid.

There was some fight between Victor Valdés and some

players of Real Madrid, but after the match all they say that

all it stays on the court.

My conclusion; Poor barça... I don't know what is happening

exacly to it.

University.

This year I hope enter to University. I would like to do Telecommunication’s engineering. I would like to do it in Barcelona, to “Universitat Politècnica” because it’s one of the best Europe Universities in engineering.

I’ve tried Barcelona because it’s a beautiful big city and I think that it’s what I need now. At our age, and especially if we have lived in a little town, it’s important to meet new people and have the possibility to say: “This face I will never meet again”, thing that in a little town it’s impossible.

I think that it’s a new beginning for lot of students and a new way of life. Some students have chance and have the University in their same city, but others like me, we have to move from home and go in a residence or live with other classmates or alone in a flat.

Mobile World Congress 2013.

This congress has been in Barcelona, in Fira Gran Via, from 25^th of February until 28^th of February.

They called it the “New Mobile Horizon” too. The mobile world is expanding speed with endless technology, applications and innovation.

Entrepreneurs around the world came there to realize meetings with other companies; they exposed their business to other companies. Other people were there only like a visitor, to see all the companies there were and some of their products.

It has been a successful event because the first day there were 80.000 people and the cheapest ticket was around 700€! It has been a good entrance of money for Barcelona because of the tickets they sold and all the hotel’s rooms they rent.

Finaly, in my opinion this is a new way to improve our technology and economy.

My iphone

I have one of the best mobile phones in our society, iphone

4s. My iphone is better than new 5th gerenation too and

perhaps de iphone 5s that will appears this summer.

Even though I have only the 4s, I have almost all new

gadjets, apps , new advances of all the new versions, all the

apps free...

Saying all this, evidently ,I had "jailbreaked" my mobile.

In fact, the only problem that I have with this wonder

program ,is that the batery finishes faster than without the

jailbrake.

In conclusion, I prefer my iphone than the others, although 

iphone 5 is bigger and has a better image resolution, my

mobile is more powerfull , especial and customized.
